Our mission is to provide opportunities for competitive play, foster sportsmanship, and support the growth of bowling in our community. Whether you're rolling for strikes in a league, competing in tournaments, or just enjoying a night at the lanes, we’re here to celebrate and elevate the game we all love.

Supporting the Sport, Empowering the Community

As part of the United States Bowling Congress, we’re proud to promote programs that make a difference. Through the Registered Volunteer Program, we ensure a safe and welcoming environment for youth bowlers. Our Scholarships and Awards initiative supports academic success and celebrates achievements on and off the lanes. Each year, our City Tournament brings bowlers together for friendly competition, fostering community spirit and showcasing local talent. Together, these efforts reflect our commitment to growing and supporting the sport of bowling in the Lakes Area.

Athlete Safety/RVP

The United States Bowling Congress’ Athlete Safety Program combines the U.S. Center for SafeSport Policies and USBC’s Registered Volunteer Program into one program designed to create awareness about emotional, physical and sexual abuse through education and prevention policies.

City Tournament

The Lakes Area USBC City Tournament is the ultimate stage for local bowlers to compete, connect, and celebrate the sport we all love. Open to bowlers of all skill levels, this event features thrilling competition, camaraderie, and a chance to earn recognition in the Brainerd Lakes Area.

Scholarships and Awards

Every year, we proudly award $500 in scholarship dollars to support youth bowlers in their academic and athletic pursuits. In addition, we celebrate the achievements of bowlers of all ages with awards that honor their dedication, skill, and love for the sport. At the Lakes Area USBC Bowling Association, we believe in inspiring the next generation and recognizing excellence both on and off the lanes.
